NEF Programme Launch
The NEF launch was held at the beautiful St Georges Works located in the creative quarter of Norwich. In the past these buildings were home to a traditional shoe factory, making thousands of shoes every year. St Georges Works now provides working spaces for start-ups and small businesses, so an ideal location for our launch!
Despite the rain we were able to enjoy the views from the roof terrace suite. Our Festival Director Julia Devonshire and team Jodie Randell, Libby Brown and Katherine Mager welcomed around 20 guests, all leaders from a diverse mix of sectors. Guests included leaders from New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership, tea.agency, Curious Directive, Vistage, Engaging Norfolk, Hethel and more! It was great to get all these people in one room, a micro version of the festival, with everyone enjoying a drink and flowing conversation.
Following our productive board meeting, which had taken place moments earlier, we were thrilled to share our vision for the Norfolk Enterprise Festival 2019. We heard from George Freeman, Julia Devonshire, Jodie Randell and Emily Groves.
Hearing from the progress of our Vision; a Charter for local SME’s, Emily Groves (Indigo Swan), was a real inspiration and reminder of what the festival is for - creating an exciting and supportive environment, a fresh way to nurture and discover the best enterprise in, and of, Norfolk.
